Worst Once Upon A Child Store I’ve ever been into. The selection was laughable. There were 7 employees and not one of them was friendly. Their computers were down and they were unable to do anything, which was totally not their fault, but instead of trying to do something about it they were singing karaoke and just chatting. Only one lady was trying to address the problem. This is my second time in the store and the selection was terrible last time too.

The girls are quiet but the place is clean and extremely organized so I think that’s why lol they recognize good brands and give you what it’s worth (it’s obviously not a dollar match completely but it’s a nicer consignment shop what do you expect) I’ve gone in there twice with brand new and designers items and they have bought everything. I appreciate them only accepting plastic containers because it minimizes the spread of germs unlike more porous type containers so I totally understand that. The prices are extremely reasonable and overall I love this place. I have a baby that outgrows everything in a week and is probably twice the size he’s supposed to be and this place always hits when trying to quickly exchange items and get things for his current size. I think others who have left reviews for this place didn’t do any research before entering. Definitely Give this place a try if you’re a new mom!

Very nice place but, VERY rude employees… seems like they hate their jobs. I came in to donate toys and other kids related items and it was more than I could hold in my hands so I brought them in a box and told them I was here to do such. One of the workers said “we don’t take donation and we don’t look through boxes.” So i offered to take them out of the box and only take a penny for all the items and she rudely responded “no we buy for cash value only.” I just took the items back and left to donate the items elsewhere. VERY unprofessional. love the store for the reasonable prices and clothes but very disappointed with how the employees talk to customers especially when trying to do something nice.

Today we were appalled by the large bug infestation in our local Once Upon a Child store. Hundreds (not exaggerating) of dead bugs throughout the store, each 2 inches in length! It was impossible to step without seeing them everywhere. Then we started seeing live bugs racing across the floor as fast as we walked. They were crawling all over the clothing we began looking through. I’m not a bug expert, but these were some kind of cockroach. They should be closed for immediate extermination. Why didn’t any of the 6 unfriendly employees sweep the dang floor?! Do NOT shop here. Their baby and kid’s items are infested with diseased bugs and it will spread to your homes and make you sick. This is outrageous and unacceptable. Shame on the owners of this store.

Store name is very fitting for the behavior from the employees and owner. Walmart has cheaper selections that are actually clean. The owners responses to reviews show exactly where the problem lies within this joint. When you can't act professional, you will never be professional.

I definatly like coming here to get great deals on like new clothing for my daughter and it is a great way to make some quick cash by selling back her old clothes that she can't wear anymore 🙂

Some girls are really nice but there are a couple that make sly comments that is offensive and it should really be looked at especially working in a place for Mom's and kids. Next time it happens to me though I'm getting a name and contacting an owner or corporate or whatever I gotta do

Arrived on time for scheduled appointment to sell a load of un needed children's clothing. When the apt was scheduled nobody informed us you can only bring one bag a day. One bag was brought in, then they complained it could tear. They then asked for it to be in a storage container. We don't live in town, thanks for wasting our time and fuel.

Response from owner is a bold face lie. We specifically called and scheduled this appointment with the abilene location. I'm only 24 miles from the city limits. I know how to Google the store located in the only town I go to and work in. Accept some responsibility and your failures.
