This is a very delayed review but we had a great experience working with Karlee for our honeymoon last fall in the UK and Ireland. We had some specific sporting events we needed planning around and we had zero worry with Karlee taking care of booking some great hotels and taking care of all the flights, airport transfers and car rentals, so we could enjoy planning all the personalized activities. We did have to check-in right before for some final vouchers/confirmations but it was all taken care of which was nice.

This was a trip i was looking forward to. Ended up i wanted to go home 3 days into it. Had i known about the food. But running out of eggs juice pop (mixes, breakfast) i wouldnt have booked it.. Ran out of vodtka. The staff there except for a few where horrible. Had to change rooms 3 times. We where there for 14 days which was not that long if the resort was functional. Everyday went to the sunwing person with our problems the first 4 days the guy and the hotel manager laughed at us. Broken toilet no running water to flush toilet.leaky ceiling. The cleaners out of 14 days left water 7 days. Had to go chaseing water. Rice and the water where my best friend. This is the second time useing Glennys Travel (Stephen) 2 separate times. I expect a refund this time as my vacation was ruined. More stress than working. Wawa drink and mango where horrible. Thats the mix. It would have cost me $1000. More to leave. I really rate this vacation a ZERO DONT GO. The travel agency should tell travelers whats really going on

Booked with a travel agent to ease the stress on planning a family trip.
Ended with a boat load of stress as now we have 10 days to come up with 6 grand for the rest of the trip.
It wasn't until 4 days AFTER they pulled the money off my card that they sent the due date of the rest of the funds along with the contact. Last time I went on a trip I paid monthly so that's what I was expecting. Maybe lack of clarification on my part. But I feel a little blindsided that I spoke with my agent MULTIPLE times and the due date was not mentioned because she "assumed I knew because I've been on vacation before" I didn't book with an agent for them to make assumptions.
My mother will be on her trip solo for a week which she was looking forward to planning, now she feels worried because she is not comfortable booking anything further with the agent in fear of being blindsided again.
Our options are figure it out or lose out.
We have family friends meeting us from other provinces at the resort and this turned into a big mess.

EDIT: According to my credit card statement October 6th $1000 was taken for my deposit. October 10th $600 was taken for moms deposit. I got the contract at 5:15 PM on October 10th.
Either way we chose an agent to share their expertise not to "assume I would know the due date". That is my issue, im sorry if that isn't a big deal to your company, but it should be. This caused a-lot of issues for us.

My wife and I needed help planning a short notice trip for our anniversary after issues with another company. We decided to give Steve at Genny Travel a try. There were a couple small things that bothered me a little bit, I asked for an exact date the price I was given would be good until and kept getting a vague "just let me know when you're ready". Also, once we did book it kind of felt like we were pushed off to someone else. This being our first time using them, I'm not sure if they work as a team and I'm just dealing with one person. Either way, Deanna was very helpful and answered my questions. Over all, our trip to Jamaica was a great time with no issues! The price was very reasonable even though we booked about 5-6 week before our travel date. We would have no issue working with them again.

My family has booked trips through Glenny for over 20 years. My parents, my siblings, ourselves as well as the children. More than 30 trips for sure. After travel shut down across the globe so did Glenny Travel. We (myself and hubby) had a cancelled cruise. Contacted Glenny to learn my options. I either received a very negative response from the owner (Steve) or a very neglected response from our agent Mary(Which means no response or..... I'll look into it..... yet never did)
Our final refund was our taxes and fees. Contacted them via phone and email several times beginning in April to check the status. After feeling there was little they were trying to do to secure our refund l was finally called by Glenny Travel to let me know my refund was ready to pick up. The cheque was dated for July 21/20, the invoice was dated for April 19/20.
Thats over 3 months I asked them about my refund and they had it. They held my money for 3 months for no reason.
Also after learning l had been issued a 125% cruise credit they have offered ZERO service to help me spend it.
Shame on you Glenny Travel. You do NOT value your customers.

Loved planning my first cruise with marry unfortunately got canceled due to what's going on. The people that are giving 1 stars just because their money isn't being sent to them by a set deadline has to consider the cruise lines and hotels have 1000's of people around the world who wanted to go on vacation. Will plan another vacation once things calm down but people don't attack vacation companies just because you want your money back be patient it'll come when it comes.
