We had a service technician come out through our home warranty First American Home Warranty. We needed our ice maker repaired and the thermostat checked to see if working correctly on our stove. The ice maker was repaired correctly but the technician forgot to bring the correct tool to check the oven. He stated AG would be back in touch to set up a new appointment. I never heard back from them and I contacted them. The receptionist stated our stove was repaired when in fact it had not been repaired. She said it was not her problem and that she would not contact the technician to verify this. She was rude and unprofessional. So now I have to go back through my warranty to fix a problem that they never assessed or fixed. Do not use this company. Judging by all of the 1 star reviews now i know why. BTW the receptionist said she didn't care if I left a bad review. Horrible customer service!!

I, like other reviewers, would like to be able to leave a "zero" rating for this company. I was directed to this company for repairs of my refrigerator under the Lowes' protection plan, because of contaminated water coming out of the refrigerator's water service (and not the household water system) . The technician stayed no longer than 5 minutes, and, without hearing the full description of the problem, stated that this was not something his company would handle. On leaving, he indicated that the company would be contacting me re possibly replacing the hoses to the water service but after 4 days, no one has contacted me and, in fact, I received an email from a company called Assurant, which falsely claimed on behalf of AG Appliance that "Your Repair is Complete." After this experience, I can fully understand why AG Appliance has such a consistently low rating by so many reviewers but cannot understand why a company like Lowes, with a reputation to protect, would even consider sending any of their customers to this company under their protection plan. If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible... We are currently renting and our fridge went out I currently have a newborn who is not even 3 weeks old and am storing milk in our fridge. My husband called and explained the situation to the office assistant who was extremely rude. Noone would be able to come out until Monday. So all weekend no fridge. My husband hung up after she said she could not get anything sooner. Well come Monday, I am waiting for a repair and I called the office and the office assistant canceled my appointment because my husband hung up on her after she said she couldn't get anything sooner. After trying to explain the situation the office assistant hung up on me. Absolutely rediculous please do not use this company.

We have American home shield warranty. They use this company. This is the worst company ever. They came out for our refrigerator 3 times and is still not fixed! We had to go buy a new one. Called warranty again for washer problems same company was sent out again 4 times and 4 weeks still not fixed. Do not use this company!!!!!

Zero stars - this is a fraudelant company. AHS assigns them to repair our washer (You have the right to request a different company!) Technician didn't speak English, didn't look at the machine, just spent the whole 6 minute visit writing up an invoice. The result: "customer overloading of machine" so repair was denied by AHS. I DO NOT overload the machine. We called AG Service to discuss, and they proceeded to change it to "We UNDERLOAD the machine." We requested a repair order and they hung up on us. They are there to collect $125. NOT TO REPAIR anything. AVOID THEM

Our 2 year old KitchenAid wall oven started making a clicking noise in the blower so we scheduled a services visit with Fidelity Home Warranty and had an appliance repair person from AG Appliance come out to assess it. The technician was in a hurry and would not even wait for me to turn on the oven to demonstrate the noise before he called Fidelity and pronounced that the oven needed a new blower and a new thermostat. A week or two later, AG Appliance returned and installed the new blower and thermostat but did not stay long enough to see if the problem was resolved.

I called Fidelity back and said the oven was still not working properly and they sent out a different repair person from AG. This person told me that the blower noise was due to improper installation and that we should reach out to the installer and have him fix it.

I called our electrician who installed the oven during our total kitchen remodel 2 years prior and he uninstalled the oven (pulled it out of the wall), turned it on, and the blower fan continued to make the same noise, metal hitting metal, when we turned it on.

Clearly neither service technician knew what they were doing so now we are paying for KitchenAid to come out to repair it.

This company was sent out by our home warranty to repair our washer.
The washer started acting up so we called for service. The technician was nice but was only in our home for 2 minutes. He looked at the washer took a picture and told me it was the transmission.

AG Appliance proceeded to tell the home warranty that the washer had been abused by overloading! My wife and I are in our 70's and do very little loads of wash. It was obvious AG Appliance just wanted to collect the $85 co-pay and not deal with our washer.

We are on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace it. That is why I have the home warranty.

My home warranty asked me to call the company and when I did they hung up on me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Our washer is 15 + years old and we have had the home warranty on it for 7+ years.

I was referred to a technician by American Home Shield due to concerns about our Jenn Air oven's digital board feeling warm to the touch. During the initial visit, the technician took some pictures but did not conduct any tests. He concluded that the panel board needed replacement and claimed it was out of stock and needed to be rebuilt. The technician also made comments about smells from the oven, which he said made him feel sick, even though the oven had recently been deep cleaned and was not in use.

The technician decided to return the following week to attempt to pull out the oven. I halted this action to prevent potential damage to our lower cabinets or the oven itself. We then chose to have another company inspect the oven. After thorough testing, they confirmed that the oven was in perfect condition and that no repairs or replacements were necessary. This experience was unsatisfactory, as the initial technician's assessment was inaccurate and lacked proper diagnostic procedures.
