Cracking couple of lakes, great facilities, the owners, Helen and Bob are amazing, and their hospitality was amazing. No silly rules, great advice and when you get one, stunning fish.
I got a hard week thanks to heavy rain, very cold nights and a wind that blew from every direction, but still managed three, including 2 PBs at 32 and 41lbs
I will be going back!!

What a venue. Had a fantastic time, with Helen and Bob. The lakes are set in mature woodland with amazing wildlife. Such a picturesque setting. Local amenities are less than a 5minute drive away in a lovely historic French Village. I can't rate Petite Pretre high enough. Caring nature of Helen and Bob is amazing. I had the food package and couldn't fault it, good supply of bait and always worth trying. It has been proven to work.
What I did find, which was very helpful, there are photos when the lake was dredged and shows all the features of Chapel lake. fish are immaculate and well cared for.
I will be back in 2022,?

Incredible fishery, beautiful lakes and exceptional quality big fish. Lovely setting and really natural feel. The food package was amazing and was well fed all week. The owners are the best anyone could ask for lovely people who will do anything for their guests and have a great laugh along the way. Very very special place indeed

Carp fishing at its best in my eyes, the owners Bob and Helen are fantastic hosts and even better company. The food package is just fantastic and there is no need for you to take you own food, not even nibbles are needed as you are full after breakfast and the 2 course evening meal. The fish are stunning and there is loads to aim for.

This review is long overdue. I have visited petite pretre twice and had a superb and relaxing time. Big fish, lovely food and well looked after facilities. Bob and Helen are both very nice and caring owners.
I can really recommend a trip to petite pretre.
