Super spot! We were welcomed to the cabin with a fire already going and a brief tour. We cooked tasty meals with food from the market a short drive away. Christmas decorations made it extra cozy, and the hot tub was relaxing. Immaculate cabin with great art.

Ok this is a cool little log cabin with wood stove ! We went in March on the rainy days after hikes we enjoyed the hot tub and games by the wood stove. Ed was super friendly and gave us a great tour and instructions on everything.

If I have to describe the cabin in one word, it is just cozy!!! And, you will love it!!
We rented this cabin for a couple nights to just hangout & it turned out to be one of the amazing times!
About amenities - The cabin is meticulously equipped with everything you may need. Right from useful kitchen tools to literally dog poop bags!! It’s one of the best organized and handy cabins I have ever lived in!
The rooms are descent and there is enough space for 6 to 8 people. But note that there is only one bathroom!

The location is quite convenient, in the sense, it’s very close to sooke downtown (15 minutes drive) so you have access to pretty much everything! Also, you could explore Sooke!
It’s also 20 minutes drive to Shirley! Don’t miss visiting the Sheringham lighthouse, Shirley’s Delicious and Stoked Pizza!
There isn’t much to explore around the cabin itself if you prefer taking a stroll around. There is an access to a pebble beach at a walking distance but it’s something that probably only locals know! The cabin owner was kind enough to suggest us this spot and we loved spending some time there!

In short.. it’s a beautiful, comfy cabin and an ideal place if you wish to just cozy up and hang out with family or friends! And, the hot tub is just a cherry on top! If you do stay here, don’t miss spending sometime in the hot tub!!

We loved staying here and will definitely consider revisiting!

A quiet, cosy and luxurious stay. We had a lovely winter getaway here. The steaming hot tub was bliss and the wood burning fire place kept us warm during a cold snap. We made great use of the fully equipped kitchen and slept well in the super comfortable beds.
Dan and France are terrific hosts — they’ve thought of everything and we’re very responsive to any questions we had.

This log house was an absolutely perfect space to share our family time in the south island. The hosts have thought of everything and it is fully equipped and ready for your stay. We will definitely return one day ?
