We were looking for somewhere to stay on our way back to England and found La Maison De La Poulette which seemed to fit the bill perfectly. We spoke to Anastasia and she booked us in and made our way there. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown around. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was superb with lots of lovely fresh delights from the local bakery, and we were set up nicely for the day as well!! This is not our first time here and we came back because it is more like visiting family than a B&B. Alison & Ken are lovely hosts, very attentive but without being over bearing, The rooms are beautifully decorated and fitted out with antiques and lovely furniture. The whole house is full of character. The breakfasts are generous with freshly baked croissants and local produce. The location is very rural but within a short drive of St Lo and ideally placed for visiting the WW2 Monuments and the Normandy Beaches. We will absolutely use again and again. We are motorcyclists and they have a secure parking for bikes.

We stayed here for a night last week, before sailing from Cherbourg the next day - about an hour away. Set in a rural location - very peaceful - about 10 mins away from the town of Saint Lo which has eating places etc. Alison, our host, was very friendly and provided a generous continental breakfast with good coffee and excellent fresh croissants. Our room was a good size and beautifully decorated and furnished in French country style. A great place for an overnight stop and we would definitely stay longer if we wanted to explore the area - the D Day beaches and war cemeteries were close, plus the Bayeaux Tapestry.

A wonderful week spent with the very kind ,, warm , inviting and friendly Alison and Ken who made our stay delightful in their very comfortable home . The rooms were spotlessly clean with attention to detail for guests comfort . We were in St Lo for the Normandie Horse Show and it was a 7 minute easy drive to Le Pole Hippique . The breakfasts were delicious with freshly home made bread to die for . They assisted our family with any help that we needed for local info . They are just simply wonderful people and we really are very grateful to them both for a superb week .. we will miss them but hope to keep in touch and with them and with the next championships in St Lo hope to return ... thank you !!

Very welcoming and caring hosts, charming old country house, quiet surroundings ; all very clean and comfortable ; continental breakfast was very good. Recommended and well located for visitors interested in the 2nd World War. Ann & Paul & parents from Belgium.

stunning location, fabulous host could not do enough for us, rooms spotless, excellent breakfast, ......................................................................................................................||Rooms were spotless. and its Ideally located for Normandy ww2 sites,||Kens knoledge of ww2 sites was a great help and helped us plan our weeks excursions.||as someone says "arrived as guests left as friends" ||AB FAB highly recomended!!!!!||Thank you both for a wonderful stay||hope to see you both again soon

Posto incantato, immerso nella campagna dove regna una pace incredibile.|Struttura molto bella, ristrutturata benissimo, le camere sono ampie è molto belle, anch'esse arredate in modo magnifico.|La proprietaria e di una gentilezza unica, così come il marito, è come andare a trovare dei vecchi amici che non si vedono da tanto tempo. |Se volete relax e natura, questo posto non vi deluderà assolutamente.
