We love coming to stay here and are beginning to loose count of the number of our stays. Recommended to us initially by friends, it’s a brilliant stop point between the Savoie area and the Channel Tunnel, winter and summer to break up your journey. A beautiful quiet location and a longer stay wouldn’t go amiss. The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable but the icing on the cake is provided by the hosts, Mike and Glenis, who are always welcoming and engaging.Make sure you book the evening meal as Mike is an exceptional cook. The food is always delicious. Preceded by a champagne aperitif and canapés, the meal is accompanied by good wine and, in the summer months, dining outside around the fire pit is an experience to savour. You may get good advice on where to buy good priced Champagne too!

Very spacey rooms, all with character.
Excellent hosts helping you out.
Loved the internal courtyard, the garden, the facilities for entertainment.
And do ask them to cook for you!!
We'll be back.

We were a group heading to a conference just north of Reim and wanted to stop somewhere as a team ahead of time. Aupres de L’Eglise was recommended by a friend so I made the arrangements via email with Glenis. There was a lot of correspondence and Glenis was so accommodating with every request. This place is a must do for anyone visiting the Champagne region or passing through. We were a group of 9 and took up all the accommodation, with some sharing rooms. The highlight of the trip was the fabulous hospitality of Mike and Glenis. They are such a lovely couple and really make the experience so enjoyable. We had organised lunch and a tasting on arrival, dinner and breakfast the next day. The food and drink was just AMAZING. They use fresh local produce, local champagne producers and can accommodate for all dietary requirements. If you stay, you must have some meals prepared by them - this absolutely makes the trip! Since we left, we have been talking about the food and our group will remember the experience here forever - it really was just incredible. All of us will be back for sure.

Absolutely beautiful B&B in quintessential French countryside. We had a lovely, large ground floor family room with ensuite bathroom with everything we could possibly need for an overnight stay.||The hosts Glenis and Mike were so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely home cooked supper with chicken, tart, lovely homemade bread, beetroot salad, cous cous followed by a delicious coconut and banana cake and wine. Very informal and relaxing. Breakfast also was great, pastries, homemade preserves, cereal, cooked peaches, yogurt, coffee and tea. A great way to start the day!!||Highly recommend and will definitely return if we are ever back in the region.||

Returning to this lovely spot after a couple of years away, we were delighted to find the food still amazing, the house and surroundings still stunning (in a comfy relaxed sort of way), hosts still welcoming and interesting. This makes a great stopover for us when driving south from NL and would be even lovelier for a few days doing the champagne route. Highly recommended.

If you are considering a stay in the Champagne region, then look no further. This is the place. The beauty and charm of the location is only matched by the friendliness and affability of Glenis and Mike!||||The rooms are spacious and sumptuous, the upstairs bathroom in the self catering guesthouse may just be the most beautiful bathroom I have ever been in. All needs are well met.||||We opted to have the home cooked dinner as part of our stay. This may have been one of the best decisions we made on our entire holiday. very high quality food, well matched wines and great company. Truly sublime!||||We will most definitely be back, for a longer stay next time!||||Thank you Glenis and Mike.
